F.A.Q.

What are the product license terms?

I want to keep Shapeforms Audio libraries as flexible as possible – after all, they are intended to be creative tools to help you get the most from your projects! No confusing legalese or unreasonable restrictions here.

  • You're free to use sounds in any form of media – including, but not limited to, games, video, motion graphics, apps, music and performance.

  • The sound libraries are royalty-free, and can be used in both commercial and non-commercial works.

  • You're free to edit the sounds as you see fit: add effects, time stretch them, apply filters – they're designed to support whatever further sound design you throw at them!

So what can't you do? You can't redistribute the sounds, or resell them in whole or in part as a new sound library or instrument. For more, check out the License Agreement document.

What payment methods do you accept?

We process payments with PayPal and Stripe. All major credit cards are accepted.

What is the store CURRENCY?

Product prices are in USD.

What is your refunds policy?

If you’re not happy, neither am I. If you find the product you bought just isn’t the right fit for your project or you bought something extra by accident at checkout, don’t worry! Get in touch within 1 month of the date of purchase and I’ll happily arrange a full refund.

CAN I USE THE SOUNDS IN my game engine?

You can use Shapeforms sound libraries with all of the popular game engines (and less popular ones, too), including Unreal, Unity, Godot Engine, Game Maker Studio and others – the sounds can be used in any engine that supports WAV files.

Do you sell music, stings or loops?

Not at the moment, but it's definitely on the cards! If you're after custom music (or sound) for your project, feel free to get in touch through the Contact page.

How about samples for music production?

All Shapeforms libraries can definitely lend a bit of spice to a music track, like a hit of cayenne pepper in a grilled cheese sandwich (yum!), but at the moment none are geared primarily toward music production. It's definitely something I'd like to release in future though.

I have an idea for a library/feedback on an existing library!

Great! I'm always on the lookout for new, useful sound libraries to create, or ways to improve and add to the utility of existing ones through free updates! Say hi and tell me your thoughts.

Are you available for commissions/contract work?

Yes! Depending on availability. Say hi and tell me all about your project and what you'd like to achieve with audio.

I really enjoy Shapeforms' stuff, how can I support?

Firstly, thank you! If you enjoy Shapeforms' audio you might like to follow me on Twitter and Instagram, join the mailing list below, or if you own a library or two and enjoyed them, consider leaving a review – any of these would go a long way to helping me develop future updates and new products. Your support makes my day, I really do appreciate it!
